Rectangular Fire Dampers FDS-3G The FDS-3G is a rectangular fire damper designed for passive fire protection with versatile installation options. The FDS-3G fire damper provides passive protection in a variety of installations that utilize compartmentalization. It helps prevent the spread of toxic gases, smoke, and fire, allowing more time for building evacuation. Standard fire dampers are designed and certified according to EN 15650 and tested for EIS criteria according to EN 1366-2. Fire dampers are an integral part of the fire resistance rating. Key Features The FDS-3G fire dampers are constructed from fire-resistant materials to ensure safe and easy installation in a variety of environments. Other sizes are available in this series. All FDS fire dampers come with either a manual or actuator mechanism, with an optional supply and communication unit available. The activation mechanisms are both removable and interchangeable. An actuator-driven mechanism can be swapped for a manually operated one, and vice versa. Modulating Actuator The modulating actuator is suitable for system balancing. It allows the blade to be opened to the desired angle. Access Doors All rectangular FDS-3G fire dampers with dimensions larger than 200x200 mm are supplied complete with two access doors.
