Prince John is coming to Nottingham and the city is preparing for his arrival. The perfect time for the local merchants to make a nice profit. But earning gold with just apples or cheese is quite idle. They prefer to quickly smuggle the mead barrel or silk among the goods. After all, stolen goods are much more profitable. If only it weren't for the sheriff who checks the wagons at the gate. But maybe he can be fooled or, in an emergency, bribed...

In Sheriff of Nottingham you take on the roles of almost honest traders and the almost non-corrupt sheriff. And each tries to make the best deal and earn the most gold. Who succeeds best in bluffing and bringing their goods into town?

The new edition from 2020 contains revised rules as well as the expansions for 6 players, Merchants, Black Market and Sheriff's Deputies.
English version
This is the English version. However, since the game is very simply structured and the material hardly requires any knowledge of English (the instructions can be downloaded from the net in German), it is also very playable for English noobs!
